The cardinal end of this course is to acquaint students with econometric techniques that are widely used in empirical work in Economics and other related disciplines. It is intended to expose students to the art of performing estimation, analyzing and interpretation of the estimated econometric model. At the end of the course students should be able to: 

(i) demonstrate their understanding of the appropriate econometric methods for analyzing data;

(ii) interpret computer output for the estimation and testing of econometric relationships; and 

(iii) interpret and discuss results.
